The Corporate Volunteer Council of Central New York (CVC) is a coalition of businesses, organizations and associations that recognize the importance of volunteerism in our community. The CVC functions as a partner of United Way of Central New York, operating independently but receiving support from the United Way.
Our mission is to provide professional guidance, development, support and networking opportunities for members and to address community needs through employee, retiree, member and family member volunteer efforts. Get Involved!

A Tea Party with the Peace, Inc. Foster Grandparents
The CVC and Peace, Inc. celebrated the culmination of our 2015-2016 signature project Celebrating Seniors on Thursday April 28th at Pensabene's Casa Grande. Over the course of 5 months our teams partnered to offer programs that highlight senior needs and recognize those making a difference such as the 180 Foster Grandparents who spend their time mentoring children ranging from babies to second graders. 2015 Dictionary Day Distribution
This was the tenth year that members of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Central New York distributed English and Spanish dictionaries to over 1,400 very happy third graders. Read More

This year, the CVC's Annual Signature Project will focus on supporting our community's seniors - through serving meals, providing care packages, celebrating foster grandparents, making goodie bags or hosting a game night.
